KAITLIN BARWICK
editing & design
My Story
I've been editing and designing professionally since 2014 when I got my first paid job editing and formatting online courses for my university's Independent Study program. Since then, I have interned with the publishing department of Deseret Book in Salt Lake City, been the managing editor for Cedar Fort Publishing & Media, edited nationally recognized organizational materials for the Franklin Planner Corporation, and worked as a freelance editor and book designer for both individual authors and various publishing organizations.

I graduated with a BA in English language and a minor in editing and publishing. But I'm constantly teaching myself new publishing practices, whether that's watching Adobe tutorials to discover yet another design tool or keeping up to date with the latest grammar and punctuation trends—RIP semicolon, you will be missed.

When I'm not working, I'm usually gaming, painting a growing army of RPG miniatures, or sewing a mountain of bags and stuffed animals to add to my hoard.
